I've been working on incorporating video more into my photography sessions lately. Grant and Kayleen were the perfect couple to really push this idea to a new level. This video features some short video clips combined with stills from the engagement portrait session to create a really beautiful montage piece. I hope you love it as much as I do.

I met with Tony and Tiffany what seems like forever ago but was only last spring to talk about their wedding photography at 12 West Main

Do you like the title on this post? One of my favorite things to do is to make celebrity couple names for my siblings and the significant others....yes another one of my siblings is getting married this year! ....next month in fact. My favorite (and only) sister Ashley got engaged this summer to Scott. We are all so excited for them.
We made some images together in September but she made me wait until her announcements were out until I could post them!
When I do engagement portraits I like to use slightly longer lens and really concentrate on filling the frame with the couple.

Dallas & Andrea | Engaged in Mesa Arizona

This is my brother Dallas and his sweet Fiance` Andrea. They are getting married in May and we wanted to go get some engagement pictures done. We have been planning on doing this on a Sunday evening for the last 3 weeks but always got rained out...today we decided to soldier through it and got a few fun shots with a rainbow in the back. Engagement sessions are some of my favorites.
I'd met with Jordan and Olivia earlier about their October wedding at 12 WEST this year but I was really glad for the opportunity to get to know them a little more during their engagement session. I love when people leave at the end of a session and I can tell that they genuinely had fun making pictures with me for that hour or two.
