For the birds....

A couple Saturdays ago my wife and I went to the Riparian Reserve in Gilbert to go for a little walk. We brought the camera and the big lense along to see what we could see. People always ask if I ever take pictures of nature, wildlife, or landscapes.. and usually I don't... it's just not as fun to take pictures unless there are people in them.
I admit that I am fairly ignorant about what kind of birds these are, but if you can tell from the pictures feel free to leave a comment.
I couldn't get this guy to hold still while in flight long enough to get picture while his wings were flapping. I guess my job as a nature photographer for the Discovery Channel will have to wait.
I know this one... It's a BEE! (well I am pretty sure).
